Pottery

Every piece begins as a lump of clay and takes shape on the wheel, one by one. We throw, trim, and glaze each piece by hand, making bowls, mugs, plates, and vases for everyday life. Glazes pool and shift in the kiln, so no two pieces turn out exactly alike, and those small variations are part of what makes handmade pottery special.

Pottery is a craft of patience and touch. From the first pull of the clay to the final firing, we pay close attention to form, balance, and finish, creating pieces that feel good in the hand and look at home on your table. Inspired by the earth and traditions of Appalachia, we make our work to be used, enjoyed, and passed down.
